Spanish Fork is the companys principal place of business. The object of the corporation is to manage and control water for irrigation in the northeast part of Spanish Fork city. Nielsen of the juvenile court asking that a detention house be provided in connection with the county infirmary. Charles C. Rasmussen was granted a dance hall license for Geneva. The matter of road improvements in Genola was referred to the county surveyor, the county attorney and to Commissioner Joseph Reece. Roper has reported to the juvenile court commission activities in juvenile court work in Provo for March. The report shows a otal of 94 cases handled; 86 of these were settled out of court and 8 came before Judge C. M. Nielsen. Of the eight cases before the court four, were from districts outside of Provo. The cases in court were disposed of in the following manner: Sus pended sentence, 2; committed to detention home, .1 ; committed to industrial school, 5. There are three cases pending against adults charged with contributing to delinquency of minors to come up this month. Janu-lieutenan- t. Marriage Licenses. The following marriage licenses have been issued: Jubal Anderson Hale and Lael Dora Irvine, of Provo; Ira Gray Watkins, of Midway, and Hazel Evelyn Jones, of Chicago; Frank Sylvester Hiatt and Mary Ethel rainier, of Provo. Work is progressing rapidly on the Springville-Mapletosugar factory under the direction of D. N. Gilman, superintendent of construction for the Dyer company, which has the contract for the factory. All of the material which will be used in construction work for some time to come, is on the ground and much of lie machinery has arrived.
