The following address, which will be very interesting, especially to Payson citizens, was delivered while the American Fleet was in Montevideo, Ura-guaSouth America, by Juan Zorrilla De San .Martin, at a reception given in honor of the fleet, in the Y. M.' C. A. headquarters, on July 15, 1917. Max Green, of thiscity, who enlisted in the navy last spring, was present on this occasion, and the address made such a deep impression on him that he secured a printed copy and sent it home, for his folks to read. The Paysonian was asked to publish the address, and we reprint it with pleasure: y, friends: Anion" all Ihc demonstrations of nffoel innate welcome which 1 have had to interpert into words, ns President of the Popular Committee which has organized them, none, I assure you, has moved me more profoundly than this one, so modest in appearance, in which we offer you a family reunion, and where, a father at the head of his table, I am called fipon to ash . the accustomed blessing. 1 had the honor of voicing the sentiment of the Uruguayan' people when they unanimously, overflowing willi acclamations thronged on land and sea to meet you.
