The big smelter for reducing the cop-pe- i and gold ores of the Ibex mines in Detroit district, will be located near Ltamington, on the line of the Union Pacific and close to the Sevier river, an official announcement to this effect having been made last night. Work on the smelter, which will be of eighty tons capacity at the start, will be ( o nmenced as soon as the necessary materials arrive. The furnaca has been ordered from the East and toe shipment of the apparatus will be hurried fonvarJ.
