The family has moved to Ogden from Seattle, Wash., where they made their home for some time. Mr. Peery stated that Boeing Aircraft, where he was employed, has laid off thousands of men due to a lack of orders. Mrs. Peery will be remembered as the former Nan Harward ofSpringville. Mr. Coombs was born in Payson on Feb. 18, 1909, a son of Ernest Clyde and Viverett Simmons Coombs. Law, 102, formerly of Utah, who died Feb. 18 of natural causes at a Santa Ana, Calif, hospital. He was born Dec. 21, 1867, at Derby, England, a son of Samuel and Sarah Ann Lunn Law. He married Madelin Beatrice Tolhurst Feb. 11, 1891, in the Logan LDS temple. She died June 15, 1944 and he married Laura E. Cutler Dec. 5, 1947, in Long Beach, Calif. Surviving are his widow of Long Beach, and several sons and daughters including Mrs. Clarence (Jennie) Curtis, Provo; Mrs. Fred (Nina) Riley, Bountiful; 73 grandchildren; over 300 dren and a A son, Jordon Law, former Payson City recorder, died a few months ago in Southern California. Several grandchildren reside in Utah County. Funeral services were held in Long Beach and graveside services and burial at Bountiful, Utah, Memorial Park. Mr. and Mrs. Flint McClellan were happy to have their daughter, Myra, and her husband, Harvey Henline, spend Friday and Saturday with them at their home in Payson. . Chase Murdick, who was enroute from his home in Beaver.to Salt Lake City. Ray Huish George Erlandson (Earl) Davis, 60, 1806 N. 5th E., Provo, died Friday in Fort Collins, Colo, of a heart attack. He was born Feb. 7, 1910 in Salt Lake City, a son of George David and Emily Elvira Erlandson Davis. On March 4, 1930, he married Iva Maurice Stone in Provo and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Mr. Davis was educated in Payson schools and lived in Payson until 1950, when he moved to Provo. He studied building construction and carpentry Utah Technical College in Provo and was a carpenter and foreman in the construction field. Among the major construction contracts he completed in Central Utah were the Provo and Lehi Sewage Treatment plants and the Wasatch school addition. He also built hospitals and gymnasiums in southern Utah and various other sewage and water treatment plants throughout Utah and the western states. Mr. Davis was a member of the Provo Chamber of Commerce and Utah Associated Contractors. He was a past commodore of the Provo Boat Club and his interests included boating, flying, skiing, hunting and fishing.
