The tour was by bus and included a guided tour of the Visitors Center on Temple Square an organ recital in the Tabernacle, dinner at a restaurant and seeing the movie The Bible. Keith Perry has returned home from a four months study tour in Austria. He went with a group of students from BYU. He also did some missionary work with inactive members and visited with friends he had known while on his mission in Germany. Keith traveled to Budapest Hungary and talked with some of the students at the University there. Mrs. George LeFevre and two daughters, Mrs. Monte Wilson, Ogden, and Mrs. Lee Hofe-lin- g, Salt Lake, attended a bridal shower given for Miss Alta Shephard at Spanish Fork, Friday night by two of her girl friends, Irene Anderton and Colleen Zeeman at the Anderton home. Michael Cowan, who left June to enter the service, was sent to Fort Bliss, Texas where he remained six days taking baby girl has joined the family of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Ashton. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Peterson and baby son visited in Spring Lake on Sunday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Benner. They attended Sunday School. Mr. and Mrs. Terrell Moore from Riverton and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bebee visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Moore on Sunday. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Cowan who visited with them on Fathers Day were Mr. and Mrs. Johan Van Zeben and children from Granger, who en;oyed dinner with them. Mr. and Mrs. GlenSearle and family called in later in the afternoon. Their son, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cowan and children from Murray, unable to come on Sunday, called in at an earlier date with Fathers Day greetings. Also enjoying dinner with the Cowans was her mother, Mrs. F anny V. Butler. Mike Jan Huish, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Huish, Morincia, Ariz. who had attended a work shop on alcoholism at the Utah University the past week, visited his uncle and aunts, Ray and Lenora Huish and Mrs. Cecil S. Perry and Mrs. Fanny V. Butler. He also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cowan and stayed overnight at the Huish home. He attended the morning session of MIA Conference on Sunday, calling in at the Huish home for dinner. He will visit in Phoenix Arizona with his sister and then go on to Morincia, Arizona. Miss Lenora Huish entertained at dinner on Tuesday for her sister, Mrs. Fanny V. Butler and Mrs. Cecil S. Peery and her orother, Ray Huish. They were sponsored by the Payson American Legion. Dale Tanner returned to Germany after spending a month in Africa at Wheelus Air Force Base in Libya. Mrs. Joyce McBride motored to Anconda, Montana where she spent a short vacation. Her nieces, Irene, Kay and Karen Haws of Anconda returned to West Mountain for a two week vacation with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mrs. Sarah Passey of Thayne, mother of Mrs. Neva Schramm returned to West Mountain Sat. with her daughter and husband, Carl Schramm, who had been spending a vacation at Thayne and surrounding places. Rudy Ekins, son of Reed and Evelyn Ekins, accompanied by Richard Gee, returned this past week from a three day trip to California. They brought back Beaux Pieds. Robert, Shari, and Marian Lazenby of Bear River City are staying with their grandparents Mr. and Mis. Alvin Henline for ten days. Their father Ed Lazenby was in an accident recently and was confined to the Pocatello Hospital for five days. Ed was hurt while training a race horse. Janice, his wife, is at Pocatello with him. Ray and Donna Stickney and son David went to Emmett, Idaho to help move Ed and Janice Lazenbys house trailer and Rays horses to Pocatello where Mr. Lazenby will train the horses to race. Pauline Nelson and five days at Oakley, Idaho with Mrs. Ross Adams and Mr. and Mrs. John Adams.
