Show UNION MARVIN F. State Senate race House of Representatives majority floor leader to run for Senate. Marvin F. "Mog Warren, Democrat from Springville, announces his candidacy for the Utah State Senate. He seeks the Senatorial Seat of the new District 17, which was created at the last general session under the Reapportionment BilL Senate District 17 comprises all of Utah County south of Provo. Mr. Warren is completing his fourth term as a member of the House of Representatives. He served as Majority Whip during the last regular session, 1965. He was elected Majority Floor Leader at the Special Session, January, 1966. He is a member of the Legislative Task Force studying the Hoover Commission Report. He is also Vice Chairman of a Legislative Council Committee studying the feasibility and need of a Junior College system in Utah. A color scheme of dainty yellow and white predominated in decorations. The bridal party stood before a white fluted backdrop with panels of heart lattice work between tall pillars that held arrangements of yellow mums tied with green ribbons. Yellow lights played on the lattice work panels. For her wedding, the lovely bride chose a gown with white lace bodice and elbow sleeves. White peau de soie made up the slim skirt and court train attached to the shoulders that were embroidered with lace medallions. A lace crown trimmed with seed pearls released her veil of illusion and she carried a bouquet of Vanta orchids combined with yellow chrysanthemums. Bridal attendants in yellow satin gowns with white elbow length gloves wore yellow bows with net in their hair and carried baskets of yellow chrysanthemums.
