The measurements wore taken on the two courses were made by Stanley Peterson of the Soil Conser- - Music Festival A Regional Music Festival was held Thursday at Payson High School, with students participating from Orem, Springville, Spanish Fork and Payson. Other schools in the region, Provo and Carbon, did not participate. Divisions included small groups and solos in string and vocal and also brass ensembles. Divisions ratings were given by impartial Judicators. Sessions were held in the band room, the auditorium, and also in the LDS Seminary building. J. D. The Rock Bridge snow course at an elevation of 6500 feet showed 40.3 inches of snow with a water content of 14.75 inches. avThis compares to a two-yeerage of 11.95 inches of water. The records show a 7 inch increase of water at this station in the past month. Mr. Lyman is a district supervisor with the Nebo Soil Conar servation District and an ardent soil and water conservationist.
