The counselors have not been named. Santaquin First ward will observe 100 rA Sunday, Sept. 13. Everyone is urged to attend. A Santaquin-Tinti- c Stake M. I. A. outing was held Friday at Arrowhead. The program commenced at 4 p.m. Mrs. Robert LaRue has been confined at a Salt Lake hospital for observation and operation on her leg. She is now at her home. Mrs. Fred Allen and children, Sheila and Gregory, of Wickford, Rhode Island, flew from their home to Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mrs. Allens parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Desmond of Santaquin met them there. They will spend some time at the Desmond home. It has been six years since Mr. and (Mrs. Desmond have seen their daughter, Mrs. Allen and the first time they have seen their grandchildren. A cottage meeting was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Robbins Monday night. Six couples' were present to enjoy a lecture and film on the Book of Mr. Kenneth MontaMormon. gue was the ward teacher that presented this program. A civic club directors meeting was held at the Utah Power and with Pres. Reed Chadwick conducting. Plans were discussed for the election Wednesday night which was to be held in the old Library Building. It was also suggested that the money taken in from the dance review in June be put towards the redecorating of the building. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hudson and children, Jolene, Marla and Dale, vacationed ,to Vernal, Utah; Rangely, Palisade and Grand Junction, Colorado. They returned home Wednesday night. Madoline Dixon Students Give Recital Students of Madoline C. Dixon were presented Monday evening in a piano and accordion recital given at her home. Sparks, Caro- Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gean Worthington last week were Mr. and 'Mrs. Robert W. DeMonte and their daughter, Charlotte, and son, Bobby, from Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Charlotte was one of the 20 young Americans who spent the summer of 1950 in Europe on a Junior Red Cross International Study visit. Also a member of that group was Don Lee Worthington. The young people enjoy keeping their friendships alive through correspondance and occasional visits. At present the DeMonts are touring the Western States and stayed in Payson overnight for a visit at the Worthington home. Those who have most to do, and are willing to work, will find the most time. Miss Jeppson taught last year at Howell, and recently was an invited guest at a Howel Sunday School reunion held a Lagoon. A large crowd attended the Ahlin of Santaquin and Thelma Morgan, Friday night in the Goshen ward chapel. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Ahlin and the bride a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Morgan. The young couple were married at the brides home.
