Lady Jane Grey Ij The Payson volunteer fire department made Christmas merry for ten Payson families by subbing for Santa Claus. The firemen visited these ten families on Christmas Eve and took toys for the children, clothes and other items for all members of the families. Payson merchants were very helpful by donating the articles given. Chief Almon Harmer and department members wish to express their appreciation for cooperation of town merchants and city officials in making it possible to give needy families a truly merry Christmas.
