This was disclosed here todav by Commander Joseph A. Thomas of the Payson Post No. 48 of The Amei ican Legion as he revealed he extent of the radio activities ol the largest vet-e- i ans' organization. "The American Legion is furnishing transcribed programs, professionally produced, to an increasing number of stations every week," Commander Thomas said. "The name of the 1947 Legion radio senes is Decision Now.' The programs dramatically portray how thi" desieions of today set the pattern of America's future." "Decision Now." according to Commando r Thomas made its leluit on the nation's air ways during the week of February 1947. "The starting list of 735 stations for this program set a new American Legion radio record," Commander Thomas said. "Last year's series, This Is Our Duty, was broadcast by 640 stations. New stations are being added every week. "Decision Now" scripts arc being authorized by the War II radio staff of The American Legion headed by Robert Shinn of Warsaw. Ind., according to Commander Thomas. "The new American Legion programs are finding favor with radio audiences because of their excellence," he said.
