SALT LAKE CITY REGIONAL OFFICE J1Y DRUG ERLANDSON, ERNEST (TOBE) McCLELLAN Funeral services for Ernest (Tobe) McClellan, 72, husband of Fanny Potter McClelan of Pay-sowere conducted Sunday at 12:15 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel under the direction of Bishop Roy Broadbent. Additional services were conducted Monday at 11 a. m. in the LDS church at Loa, Wayne county, where the family formerly resided. Burial was in Loa. Mr. McClellan died last Thursday at 12:10 a. m. in the Payson hospital from injuries received about three hours earlier in an automobile accident on Highway 91 at 8th East Street, Payson. Earl Smith, chairman of the Ut li Ccunty AAA committee upon his leturn from attending the Utah State conference of County committeemen in Salt Lake City. Attending the conference from Utah County along with Mr.Smith were S. Lavell Bird, John B. Thomas and Byron Mendenhall. Mr. Smith said the conference stressed the importance of having farmers familiar with the provisions of the agriculture conservation program so they can use it to protect the nations most valour soil. uable natural resource He said the program is being made more flexible each year to meet the conservation needs of individual farms and ranches. County and community committeemen are being given more responsibility in administering the program. This year 10 per cent of the county allocation of conservation funds can be used on a practice selected by the county committee. JOHN ELLERTSON, City Poundkeeper. Funeral services for Joseph Clifford Green, 61, who had lived in Payson for most of his life, were conducted Tuesday at 1 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel. The body was brought from Salt Lake City to the church at noon and the family and friends gathered there. He was born in Payson, a son of Nathaniel and Sarah Wright Green. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lydia Watts of Moab, and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in the Payson City cemetery, under the direction of the Deseret Mortuary of Salt Lake City. Willis, husband of Margayetha Willis, a native of Payson. He was born here July 21, 1897, a veteran of World War I. He was a son of Mrs. Mary Selman Willis, a sister of Mrs. Dean.
