This seminar was taught by Mr. Bob Carey, who is the earthquake specialist for the Utah State Department of Public Safety. At the end of the instruction, all the attendees were given an examination to see how wrell they listened. The questions are listed below for your interest and for your information: EARTHQUAKE KNOWLEDGE QUESTIONNAIRE This questionnaire consists of 14 ques- tions that ask for your opinions and knowledge about earthquakes in general. Youth Council Hosts Battle Of The Bands The Payson City Youth Council is proud to announce an upcoming Battle of the Bands, Saturday, September 4, 1999, at 8:00 p.m. Bands around the county are invited to square off in a red-hnight of comSchool the at Football Field. Payson High petition Judging will cover two talent categories, original lyricsscore and cover songs. The councils purpose for this event is to "unite the community through expressing the potential of todays youth." All proceeds will be donated for the purpose of creating a Recreation Center, for families, that we as a youth council feel will be beneficial to our community.
