Bud Scruggs To Address Utah County Republican Women The Utah County Republican Women are pleased to announce the details of their March meeting. On March 1st political analyst Bud Scruggs will address the membership at noon in the lower level of the new county building in Provo. His topics will include the Republican versus the Democrat philosophy of government, the party convention process, National Convention delegate selection. State election law and party rules. Mr. Scruggs is currently teaching American, state and local government, public policy and campaigns and elections...all this at Brigham Young University. He also has a monthly column in the Salt Lake Tribune and is a frequent and popular political analyst on TV and radio shows. After serving four years in Washington D.C. on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, he spent three years as Chief of Staff to Governor Bangerter. A graduate of the J. Rueben Clark School of Law, he and his wife Shirley are the parents of six children. They reside in Orem. All Republican Women members are invited to bring a guest and their membership dues.
