Record beet crops GUNNISON have been produced this year in Sanpete and Sevier counties, according to R. T. Harris, treasurer of the Gunnison Sugar company. Farmers of the two counties will be paid $400,000 for October sugar beet deliveries on November 5, ten days in advance of the regular beet payday. Total payments of the firm will be $500,000 with $100,000 to be paid out November 15 for November sugar beet deliveries. Payments this year double those of last year.
