Show by EVA COOK Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Finch attended a wedding breakfast and reception in honor of their Leslie Jean granddaughter Muder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett K. Muder, and Mr. David B. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Jones, whc were married Aug. 12, in the Salt Lake Temple. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Jones, honored the newly-we- ds at a wedding breakfast at Log Haven. Her parents were hosts at the wedding reception the same evening. Setting for the nuptial social was the Lamplighter. Bridesmaids were her cousins, Misses Vickie and Claudia Stansfield. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Stansfield also attended. After a honeymoon in Jackson Wyo., the young couple plan to make their home in Salt Lake City where they will both continue their education. Contestants at a Horse Shoeing Tournament were Don Farnsworth, Herb Cook, and Gary Farnsworth, who were guests at the Fete Goodwine residents recently. The tournament was held at Murray. The three contestants are residents of Danville, Illinois. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Goodwine and daughter, Kathelene, attended a surprise birthday party for their last Sunday son-in-la- w, nie, Clair Win- in Payson. Mrs. Beathea Wolf and Mrs. Lillian Finch, with members of the H Country Sewing Club attended the community exhibit day on August 15, at Payson. The girls exhibited and modeled the clothes they had made. Girls receiving completion ribbons were Carol Thomas, Patty Hansen, Danna Jensen, Ray Linda Wolf, and Marie Stone-ma- n. 4-- Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Finch visited their little granddaughter, Kathy Finch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Finch of Provo, who had fallen through a storm-do- or and severly cut her arm. She was released from the Utah Valley Hospital after surgery last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Delaney and four boys visited their relatives and friends in Moab last week. THURSDAY, AUGUST Meeting Sept. 29 in Salt Lake City The Board of Directors of the Inter mountain Farmers Association has scheduled Thursday, September 29 as the date for the 44th annual meeting of the organization, according to John A. Rogharr, General Manager. This is a departure from previous meetings which have been held in February. The sessions are planned at the Ramada Inn, 1000 South State Street, in Salt Lake City, startingof at 9 a.m. Special the board and the meetings branch managers will be held preceding the membership meeting which is expected to attract representatives from all parts of the state. IFA is Utahs largest farm cooperative. President R. Morgan Dyreng of Manti will preside at the meeting and make a report. A survey of accomplishments of the past year and the prowill be ougram for 1966-6- 7 tlined by Mr. Roghaar. The meetings will be concluded with a luncheon and entertainment. Mrs. Lynn (Anita) Allen, that they will be making their home in Cambridge England. They have been living in France where Mr. Allen has been stationed with the Air Force. Merlynn Tanners make European Tour Mr. and Mrs. Merlynn Tanof Payson Furniture returned Sunday from a three week tour of Europe. They visited England, France, Spain, Portigul and Holland. In Holland they visited with church members their son David, knew there during his mission.
