Show I The Poy:c.i Chronicle, Payson, Utah Thif clay, Cecen1 er 14, 1.61 Growth Notes in Stake Santaquin-Tinti- c By Beulah G. Bradley Phone 7543621 On some printed page, a time ago, these words stood out and demanded the readers attention. They saidThe ideal Happiness is Christs life. And the reader thought long on it and said aloud, It is so simple if we would ibut follow His way our confusion and strife would cease. Yes, He lived for us, a pat tern to make, and died that we might be foi given of our sins and weaknessess, and thru the door of lepentance, came unto Him. His pattern for happiness is so simple. We must learn to love others; to strive to be peacemakers; to have faith and to do good. This was Christ's way. It must be ours if we seek happiness. Perhaps as hearts of men soften at Christmas time, we see and can more clea: more nearly live the perfect life. Let us not permit selfishness to enter into our hearts to tarnish the purity of our thoughts and desires at this season when we glourious lome closer to being Christ-lik- e than at any other time of the year. Let us truly test Gods pattern of happiness and give the gift of love and of ourselves at Christmas and on thru the year. Dont you agree, that our cup would be filled to er flowing with happiness the years end? Speaking of the gift of love hcic's a good way to start. Why not give a gift subscription o f one of our church or publications to a shut-m- , to one who does not have this inspiration in his or her home? Good is incorpoiated into every page. They are truly love send.ng gifts that last all year. If you dont know who to order them from, call your c ' Ly Bishop.
