Show I THE BELL FOR RINGS ... SANTAQUIN-TINTIAs this year of 1959 draws to a close I am grateful for m my things most of all I i;a giateful for the Gospel of gives meanjes. s Chr st which to my life, and purpose ing aid for the Testimony I have of it. I am gratef.il to be able to get up this early morning and express m writing my ap pieciation Lr my bless.rgs to express to you appreciation for ycur friendship, your pleasant association, and your he pfulness. But for the grace of God and the quick think.ng and actions of the driver of a semi-truc- lunaway our car k m ght well have been crushed between it and another huge crosswise on an icy semi seven more could and d ri l.vc been added to the holiday toll. Twice more in our 12u0 mile holiday journey we came upon the wreckage of two-ca- r crashes but they served to rem nd us of the need for careful driving and we arrived home without mishap. No more do we look upon the journey to and from our destination as something to be endured but rather we try to make it something to be enjoyed also, so usually we try to do something a little different. This time we tcck a little side trip to a Toad Navajo Indian Village tripping-'- y Lera (pronounced To wad a on the tongue Lena ), where we saw the Mormon aftermath of a Chrstmas party. We were amazed, to s:y the least, at the lcvely little L D.S. Chapel in wh.ch it was held. Keturnmg home by a different route we spent an hour off the beaten path to explore the rums of a Hop! Indian Village, attrib ited by archeolig-ist- s to h ve been inhabited during the twelfth century. These homes, most of them two story buildings with several rooms had been built of ro.k put together with a very which had cement tough weathered well the vicissitudes cf the past nine hundred years. Seeing this k.nd of thing always makes me wish I were a better student of the Book cf Mormon in the hope that I muht be able to fit in the pieces of history. HUISH THEATRE PAY SON, UTAH STAKE C Fork.
