Petrie was happily observed Saturday evening with a gathering of approximately sixty friends and relatives from Seattle and Bellingham at the home of their son, E. C. Fetrie and wife, 5027 West Alderwood avenue, formerly of Pay-soFlowers of the midsummer in shades of the gold were used as a decorative medium about the home. During the evening a program of music and talks was given with Rev. L. L. Totten of the First Presbyterian church officiating at the golden wedding service. Later a buffet luncheon was served which further carried out the golden color note in the large decorated wedding cake and ices centered with a golden bell.
