Under the schedule that had been in effect for the past year the City paid a total of $12,407.90 for their power purchases. Under the new schedule the same amount of power would cost $10,842 00 Under the old rate, the city paid $1 90 per kwh of demand power used with a minimum of $25.00 for the highest 15 minutes of demand during the year. An energy charge of .73 was charged on energy used, and a minimum of $100. per month was charged regardless of whether any power was consumed or not.
