Miss Lucile Kochne, mem-tw- r of the Census Staff, is here from Washington to consult with county officials and solicit their advice in regard to the proposed areas for Iren County. The proposed Census County divisions should be particularly useful for administrat ive purposes. The Census County Divisions generally haveTlearcut boundries which can easily be identified, and they are intended to remain as permanent areas. For the most part, they are based on the communities which serve as the focal point of each area. The statistical data for these divisions will assist users of Census information to measure the sphere of influence exercised bv such communities. It is believed that the Census Countv Divisions will be a handv tool for the use of county officials, local business and civic or ganizations. Miss Kochne assures that the county divisions set up bv the Bureau of the Census will not interfere in any way with the use of existing county subdivisions. For Census purposes Iron Countv has been divided into three Census County Divisions, as follows: Cndar Citv, Eerv - Newcastle and Parowan.
