Said bonds will December 1, $12,000 in each of the years 1956 to 1972, inclusive, and $11,000 in the year 1973. Bonds maturing in the years 1964 and thereafter will be redeemable at the option of the City on December 1, 1963, and on interest payment dates thereafter, in inverse numerical order, upon payment of par, accrued interest and a premium equivalent to one year's interest thereon computed at the rate borne thereon in the year immediately following the date of redemption. The principal of and interest on said bonds shall be payable at the Continental Bank & Trust Company, Salt Lake City, Utah. Said bonds are payable, principal and interest, solely from of the net revenues of and secured by a pledge of 42 045 the Municipal Electric Light and Power System of said City subject, however, to the pament of $94,000 of Electric Light and Power Revenue Bonds, Series April 1, 1949, maturing serially in the years 1954 to 1976, inclusive. Bidders are required to submit bids specifying the lowest rate of interest and premium, if any, at which they will purchase said bonds, at or above par. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check on a national bank or trust company, equal to 2 of the bid, the amount of the check of the successful bidder to be retained by the City in the event that such bidder does not take up and pay for the bonds, in accordance with the terms of the bid. Checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned forthwith. The City reserves the right to reject any and all hids. The City will furnish executed bonds, and the approving opinion of Tallmadge and Tallmadge, Attorneys, of Denver, Colorado, and a certified transcript of the proceedings, including a certificate that there is no litigation threatened or pending relating to the validity of the issue.
