Show POLICE BLOTTER tmi garage rifled Items were stolen from two vehicles parked in the TMI parking garage Saturday night. An AMFM eight-track and CB radio valued at $385 was taken from a Jeep CJ7. Also missing were five eight-track tapes worth $40. The jeep was owned by an out of town visitor from Salina, Utah. There was no sign of forced entry but the doors were supposedly locked. Nearly $50 worth of merchandise merchan-dise was taken from a motorcycles in the garage. Missing were two pairs of gloves, two hats, one tow rope, a white cover for a CB and a pair of intercoms. missing sheepskins Two light tan sheepskin vest valued at $80 each were taken from a rack outside the Finishing Touch at the resort center Sunday morning. According to reports, a young boy was in charge of the store between 1U and 11 a.m. during the weekly fleamarkets. When the boy went inside to help a customer, a couple was seen going through a clothes rack outside the front of the store. Later, the vests were noticed missing. nova problems A 1972 Chevy Nova sustained $250 damage last Wednesday afternoon when a 1975 Toyota Silica backed into it near the post office. Police report the Toyota was backing out of a parking space on Fifth Street at the side of the post office and the Nova had just made a left turn onto Fifth from Main. The Toyota sustained $100 damage. |
