Note the three large candles each miner has been issued to provide him with light while underground. The lack of hard hats, slickers or boots dates the photo to the late 1800s. Personal Paragraphs Obituary Randy Kim Bown Randy Kim Bown. age 44. passed away at his home Friday evening Jan. 3. 1997 in Heber City. Utah. He was born April 2. 1952 in Manli. Utah to Carl Bown and Verna Kesiel Bown. He married Barbara Broadhead on Feb. X. 1988 in Heber City. He worked as a stone mason, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and Ja games. He is survived by his wife of Heber City; parents of Manti; children: chil-dren: Nathan Kinsev and Teresa Kinsey of Heber City: Jason Bown and Courtney Bown of Las Vegas. New; brothers: Danny Bown. Carl Bown. Joe Bown and Roger Bown. all of Manti; Lonny Bown of Elsinore. Utah: Jess Bown of Gunnison. Utah; sisters: Diane Maughn of Manti: J.C. Gowers of Salt Lake City; Christy Jenkins of Spring City. Utah; grandmother: Dee Kesiel of Manti. Funeral services were held on Tuesday. Jan. 7 at the Heber Valley Baptist Church. He was buried in the Heber Cemeterv.
