On June 8 third graders visit the middle school for lunch and an orientation from 12:50 to 1 :40 p.m. Then is a traditional staff meeting June 9 at 3 : 30 p.m. Fourth grade students will hike to Timpanogos on June 9. There is a fifth grade picnic at City Park June 10. Eighth grade promotion practice will be held June 10 during 6th and 7th periods. June 11 is a field day for fourth through sixth grades and seventh through eighth grades. It is designed to involve youths in a track and Held program and form a national qualification qualifica-tion network. Winners move from our local Park City meet to the state meet and possibly to the state meet in Hershey, PA. The meet will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 6 at the Park City High school Track. Competitors will be charged 25 cents per event and be divided by ages 9 and 10, 11 and 12, 13 and 14, for boys and girls. For more information and to register for the meet call the Rec.
