H Baxter of Park City and Mrs Rachael OConnor O'Connor of Salt Lake City The passing of a friend Makes all the day seem drear And with a host of loyal friends We shed a parting tear Her heart was ever generous Her disposition sweet Her courage the undaunted kind That never knows retreat For hers was not a long life Nor health her gift gUt divine But always In her cheerful way She Sho smiled and said and Im fine And now new our dear Davina Your work begins anew For worthiness and friendliness We pay tribute to you During her residence in Park City Miss Baxter was secretary for Mr Charles I Moore for two twenty-two years Funeral services were held at the I Community church Wednesday after after- noon Rev E. E White officiating paying a n loving tribute to the high character of the tho deceased and expressing tender sympathy to the bereaved ones The ser eon services vices were largely attended A quartette composed of Mrs W. W F. F Mrs LaPage Mrs R. R P. P Diehl and anti 1 Mrs John McClellan accompanied by byI I Mrs Mildred Baxter rendered several selections A vocal solo was was was' rendered by Wilbur Brooks The remains were taken to Salt Lake for interment in the family plot at Mount Olivet cemetery A large cortege accompanying the remains to the city |
