Show patrick I 1 J ryan dies suddenly the community was shocked yesterday afternoon when the news was circulated that mr air P J ryan had dropped dead while performing his duties as janitor at the jefferson school building tho the sad ead news was received with sincere regret by his hosts ol of friends in park city where he had made his home and was universally esteemed tor for the past twenty seven years deceased was a native of new jersey lie he being born at mount hope in that state on august 15 he came to park city with his parents in 1886 for five years he worked in the mines of th tb city when he went to oklahoma returning to park city in 1905 where he has re resided aided continuously since he again followed mining until 1910 when he was appointed on the city police force and for two years acted in that capacity for tour four years following he be served as sheriff of summit county and was chairman of the summit county draft board during the world war since 1921 he was employed as janitor at the jefferson school building mr ryan byan was always a genial industrious tr I 1 ous and active citizen popular with all classes and held in high esteem by all who knew him his sudden death brings sorrow to hosts of friends who with the record extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved widow and family in their great bereavement surviving are his widow mrs elizabeth ryan byan and six sons harry and paul ryan park city william matthew and francis ryan byan san francisco lawrence ryan in the army corps at honolulu his mother mrs john ryan a brother and sister john J ryan and mrs james ross rosa park city funeral arrangements will not be completed until after the arrival of the son W william illiam from california tonight |
