His first charge was In Plymouth, England. He stayed In Canada but a few years and about 1879 came to New Castle. Later he went to Kokomo, Ind., where he served a charge to London, O. and other places but returned to New Castle as the pastor of the Primitive Methodist church. The Injuries received by Dan Leahy at the Silver King Coalition Mines the first of last week were too serious to overcome, and despite every possible attention and care given him, life trraduallv ebbed away, and Monday he hrpatnpd his last, surrounded by his loved ones. Dan was of a genial, happy disposition, making friends of all with whom he came in contact, and his un- t.impiir rfpath causes sincere sorrow among his hosts of friends. Deceased was 37 years of age. He is survived by his widow and four children, his widowed mcther and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Cath-olic church, Wednesday, under the auspices aus-pices of the Knights of Columbus, Rev. Father Galllgan officiating. Remains were taken to Salt Lake for burial, the pall bearers being: Mayor Frank Dailey, Peter Tallon, Clarence Hayes, Dan Mc-Cann, Mc-Cann, Joe McLauehlln and M. J. McGill.
