SCOUTING FOR FOOD-Local Boys Scouts in Park City Ci-ty and the surrounding community are participating in Scouting for Food. This is a program designed to assist those in our area needing food. Scouts will be bringing donation bags door to door throughout the day on Saturday Satur-day November 7. Residents are asked to donate food which will be picked up by the Scouts the following Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon. If Park City wins, the team advances to the state 2A final, which is tentatively set to be played at Rice Stadium in Salt Lake. GRAND CHAMPIONS TENNIS- Twelve professional tennis players are vying for $40,000 in prize money in the Canyon Classic Tennis Tournament at the Canyon Racquet Rac-quet Club in Salt Lake. The event is a stop on the Prudential-Bache Securities Grand Champions Tour. The format is round robin, with play through Sunday. Thursday's session runs from 2-10 p.m., Friday's from 12-10 p.m., Saturday's from 4-10 p.m., and Sunday's finals from 2-6 p.m. Among the top names are Tom Gorman, Gor-man, Marty Riessen, Tom Gullikson, and Jaime Fillol. NINTH ANNUAL NATURAL HIGHLANDS RELAY-This RELAY-This original three-person relay run covers a five mile course, half of which is up into the higher reaches of City Creek Canyon in Salt Lake, where the fall colors are divine. Each team member runs the course once. The race is sponsored by a variety of beers, including Budweiser labels, KLCY radio, and the Green Street Private Club. The time has come to think snow and think skis, and what better place to do that than the Park City Ski Swap. This year is the 15th annual edition of the largest ski swap in the Intermountain West and it takes place Nov. 7 and 8 at the Treasure Mountain Middle School. Equipment Equip-ment check-in will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, with the mad selling going on from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
