Show Mitraaiples Edna Duncombe Wipperman Edna Duncombe Wipperman, born Dec. 23, 1896 in Park City, died this week at the age of 87. She passed away on March 21. She was the daughter of Franklin and Dora Hansen Duncombe. Dun-combe. She married Ernest C. Wipperman on July 3, 1920 in Salt Lake, a union later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Feb. 10, 1961. She was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include sons Donald E. and E. Conrad and daughter Sister Mary Joseph (Barbara), all of Salt Lake; seven grandchildren ; and 12 great-grand children. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24. Interment was in Salt Lake City Cemetrey. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Services for Visually Handicapped or the American Cancer Society. Patrick Henry Clark Patrick Henry Clark, whose birth in Park City preceded the Great Fire, died March 22 at the Veteran's Hospital in Salt Lake. He was 87. He was born Dec. 10, 1896, son of Peter and Rose Cunningham Cun-ningham Clark. He served in World War I, and his name is inscribed on the Memorial Building plaque honoring Summit County veterans. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He married Elizabeth Henschke in Randolph, Utah on April 21, 1934. He worked for Sears Roebuck for 26 years until his retirement in 1962. He had a great love for animals. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters-in-law (Dennis Patrick and Sandra S. Clark; Douglas John and Virginia S. Clark, all of Salt Lake); one brother, Francis (Salt Lake); sisters Anna Clark (Salt Lake) and Marie Wright (California) and several nieces and nephews. Burial mass was held Monday and interment was at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hogle Zoological Gardens, 2600 Sunnyside Avenue, Salt Lake 84108. Everett George Gibbons Everett (Gibby) George Gibbons, 70, died at his Bountiful home on March 21. He was born December 15, 1913 at Snyderville, Utah, to George and Mary Violet Peterson Gibbons. He married Ruth Bryson on November 19, 1941 at Malad, Idaho. She died on Jan. 5, 1948. He married Ludeen Good-fellow Good-fellow on April 28, 1950 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, a union later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He organized the Bountiful City Reserve Police Unit and was among the first BPD officers. He worked for Wells Fargo for 43 years. He was a member of several Travel Trailer clubs. Survivors include his wife, Bountiful; children Ralph B. (Farmington), Mrs. Ron (Nancy) Fortin (of Colorado); David G. (Burley, Idaho), Mrs. Jery (Sharon) Carroll (California); Dan C. and Dean C. (Paul, Idaho); Mrs. Don (Pamela) Wright (Salt Lake); Mrs. Myron (Shauna) Knighton (North Salt Lake); 37 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother Danzil (Massachusetts); ' and sisters Mrs. Fern Parhala (Texas); Mrs. Harold (Wanda) Kelly (of California), Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Sears, (of Colorado); Mrs. Eugene (Elaine) Jarvis (of Pleasant Grove, Utah); Mrs. Jim (Beth) Goslin (California); Mrs. Clifford (Margia) Williams (of Arkansas); and Mrs. Sam (Shirley) Sucamele (Oregon). The funeral service was held Monday and interment was in Bountiful City Cemetery. |
