Show Obituaries Henry A. Doppler Henry A. Doppler, 82, died June 22 in Denver, Colo. He worked more than 40 years as a mining engineer for United Park City Mines in Park City. He retired in 1968. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., March 10, 1903, to Henry and Mary Doppler. He married Avis Tuggle Sept. 24, 1930, in Salt Lake. He attended the Colorado School of Mines. He moved to Denver after his retirement. He was a member of Uintah Lodge No. 7, F & AM (Park City), Knights of York Cross of Honor and the El Jebel Shrine. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Harriet D. Burket (Wayne, Pa.); sister, Loretta Burke (Inglewood, Colo.), Lillian Hartwell, Marie Young, Dorothy Siemsen and Bobbie Smith; brother, Joseph Doppler; and grandchildren, Cheryl Burket (Boulder, Colo.) and David Burket (San Francisco, Calif.). Thomas P. Carter Thomas Porter Carter, 23, died June 25 in Strawberry, Calif, in an industrial accident. He was born March 27, 1962, in Ogden, Utah to Allen D. and Mary Johnson Carter. He married Sheila Ann Gill May 21 , 1983 in Heber City. He was named after his grandfather, Porter Carter, who served as Morgan County sheriff for 20 years, said Park City historian Bea Kummer. She added that Thomas Porter Carter's great-grandfather, Thomas Carter, was her grandfather and Porter Carter was her uncle. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Marie, all of Sonora, Calif.; parents, of Heber City; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Sharp (Clearfield, Utah); brothers, Phil (Salt Lake), Raymond (Rawlins, Wyo.) and Michael (Bamberg, W. Germany); and sisters, Mrs. Gail . (Connie) Muir,(Orem, Utah); Mrs. Mikel. (Valerie) Killion (Aurora, Colo.) "and Mrs. Lonnie (Tracy) Shoniaker( West Jordan, Utah). ' He was buried at Heber City Cemetery. 1 . Wendell C. Woolstenhulme Jack David Woolstenhulme Wendell C. "Shorty" Woolstenhulme, 27, and Jack David Woolstenhulme, 21, died June 26 in an auto accident near Peoa. Wendell C. Woolstenhulme was born Jan. 31, 1958, in Coalville to R. Wendell and Aria Clark Woolstenhulme. He married Jill Stembridge on Nov. 26, 1976, in Peoa, a union later solemnized in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. He was an avid sportsman and rodeo rider, and an Allstate Class 1A football player in 1975. He was an active LDS member, serving in the Sunday School Presidency. Jack David Woolstenhulme was born Nov. 23, 1963, in Coalville to Dick and Charlotte Peterson Woolstenhulme. He was active in the South Summit High School Rodeo Club and loved sports . He served an LDS mission to Peru. Wendell is survived by his wife; children Ruby, Tanya, Tasia and Rye Wendell; parents (all of Oakley); grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Woolstenhulme (Oakley) and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gee (Salt Lake); sister Mrs. John (Jackie) Blazzard (Kamas); twin brother Kendall C. "Tiny" Woolstenhulme, and brother Tim (both Oakley); and an aunt raised as a sister, Mrs. Tim (Janet ) Atkinson ( Kamas ) . Jack David is survived by his parents; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Woolstenhulme (all Oakley) ; brothers and sisters Mrs. Jeff (Cheryl) Brown, Jill, Robyn and Andy (all Oakley) and David (serving an LDS mission in Mason City, Iowa). He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark. Funeral services for the two men were held Saturday at the Oakley Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Oakley Cemetery. |
