Show Obituaries ' Thomas C. Gates Thomas Clifford Gates, 78, of Payson, died Saturday September 18, 1982. Born on Dec. 1, 1903, in Salina. The son of George Thomas and Jane Ann Stewart Gates. He married Thelma Houser on August 1, 1925, in Provo. Survivors: wife, Payson; four sons and six daughters, Virgil Clifford Gates, Franklin Frank-lin Delano Gates, Mrs. Wilford (Marie) Brewer, Mrs. Leo (Mary) Sweatfield. Mrs. Dee (dona) Linch, all of Payson) Thomas Etna P. Neil Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Etna Page Neil, died Sept. 15, 1982, of causes incident to age in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born November 30. 1888, at Bountiful, Utah. The daughter daugh-ter of Alma and Francis Ann Ashby Page. Moved with parents as a child to Kamas, Utah, where she taught school. She was a graduate nurse of the LDS Hospital, being among the first graduating gradu-ating class. Married J. Norman Neil September 7, 1921, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died July 15, 1952. She and her husband owned and operated for 30 years Coffee John's Cafe at Park City, I Utah. Active worker, all of her life, in the wards and stakes she lived in, holding many teaching and adminis-trative adminis-trative positions. Member, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Loved and respected respect-ed by all who knew her. Survivors: Son, Norman P. Neil. Holladay; brother, Chester Page, Emmett," Idaho; Ida-ho; two step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; pre-coded pre-coded in death by a son. Junior N. Neil. |
