S Gitsch was born in Park City July 29 1889 She moved to Salt Lake City In 1905 and was graduated ed eel from Irom the University of Utah where she also completed much work toward her masters master's degree She was married to Dr Van Cott In 1912 in Salt Lake City He died In 1935 During World War II Mrs Van Cott served as a canteen and Red Cross worker She was past president of Salt Lake district Utah Federation of Women's Women's Women's Wo Wo- mens men's Clubs and Delta Delta Delta sonority sorority sorority sor son Mothers Mothers' club She was formerly affiliated with the Elks Ladles club Sigma Chi Mothers' Mothers club and a sponsor of Alpha Iota business business business busi busi- ness sorority She was an active member of the Ladies Ladies' Literary club past matron matron ma ma- tron of Radiant chapter Order of the Eastern Star an officer of Grand chapter Order of the Eastern Star and was a aGold aGold aGold Gold Star mother Three children preceded Mrs Van Cott In death Dee Marr Van Cott Helen Van Cott and Capt Robert C.
