Show Page err Wednesday, August 21, 1974 NEW SHOPS OPEN ON UPPER MAIN Two new stores opened during the Art Festival weekend - Mountain Grown Art and The Meyer Gallery, both on upper Main Street. Mountain Grown Art, operated by Dave Bernini and Dave Gardner, features Utah art. Pottery, painting, woodwork, leather, macrame, sculpture, silver and turquoise, crochet, weaving, and clothing are all available. Located at 227 Main Street, in the Star Hotel building, Mountain Grown Art will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM till 6 PM. The Meyer Gallery, located at 305 Main Street, plans to be open Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 AM - 5PM. This store also offers a wide selection of art, including batik, ceramics by three different potters, Indian jewelry, drawings by Brent Bird, Kristy McKay, Ray McCarty, and oils by Kathy Wilson.
