We intend to implement on a priority basis plans for improvement of streets, dog control, etc., as soon as possible. Improvements to the water system are already underway. Other items will be pursued as money becomes available. We are very aware of present road conditions and are undertaking programs to alleviate this problem. We realize there is much to be done on improvement and our intent is to do as much as possible. We also realize that projects such as these take time, and cannot be accomplished overnight. Water improvements such as system updating are scheduled over the next few years. Streets will be improved in the same manner along with the other projects that need attention. With the cooperation and patience of citizens, Park City will be able to make the progress which is desired by everyone. Page? has no dogcatcher. It was suggested that when a new canine capturer is hired, he could display the fruits of each days labor at the end of Main Street. This would allow anyone missing a pet to go to Main Street between 4 PM and 5 PM and claim his or her dog if it is among those taken into custody. CUnic The possibility of a dog clinic was raised. The clinic would be conducted yearly and would be used to register dogs and to administer shots. It was suggested that such shots be a prerequisite for obtaining a license. Snow Removal Methods of insuring snow-fre- e Main Street sidewalks were the second major area of dialogue. A plan was considered which would have the city fine any Main Street property owner who fails to clear the sidewalk fronting his store or lot within a specified period of time. More People The six citizens in attendance considered various means of gaining increased participation in the Action Group meetings. One method was the use of a bulletin board in the Post Office. These suggestions will be relayed to the City Council by Mayor John Price who presided over the meeting. An open town meeting is tentatively scheduled to be held on Thursday, September 12th, at 4 PM in City Hall. The meeting will provide a forum for anyone wishing to speak on matters concerning the city.
