H COALITION Page 5 Cross Country with Kran The Uinta Mountain Range in We traveled for about three hours then took an ..early af- the Spring is beautiful. Ten of us took a tour up in the Kamas area of the range. AVe took two vans and drove up as far as possible, got out and began to ski the rest. It was a beautiful day. The snow was quite hard yet it made for good climbing, using the edges of the ski and digging in hard, side stepping most of the way. Once on top of the ridges, we got a spectacular view of the Timpanogos Mountains. We began to climb higher. The snow was constantly melting, leaving islands of snow to be skied over. It seemed like a giant maze picking your way through, cutting back, carrying your skis, and once in a while getting a wet foot. -- II kite linen on glared heat hut Mark Path of dream, of road of road: Inti while line of nimia denlinalitm w w ternoon break. Finding a dry piece of ground, we sat and ate a gourmet meal of fruits, bread and wine. Then, we simply fell asleep in the sun for an hour and a half. When I woke up I completely forgot where I was. However, I was very soon reminded by the intense sun and moving pines. After we packed everything up, we began to head down the south slope into a fine valley and crossed the road to Mirror Lake down to the vans. We ended another perfect day by driving to the Wickee Up for a cold Burgie then back to Park FEATURING THE ONLY CHINEESE FOOD IN TOWNI We open early and we dose late. 6:00 a.m. until midnight, Mon. thru Fri. 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.f Fri. and Sat BREAKFAST LUNCH DINNER and FAST.
