Along with the Main Street proposal, the new water rates, a preliminary draft of a new business license fee schedule, and a preliminary draft of new city zoning ordinances will be offered for discussion. one-wa- AN EVENING OF POETRY Athenaeum Club enjoyed an evening of poetry Monday, November 11th, presented by Mrs. Lethe Coleman Tatge of Midway. Mrs. E.J. McPolin introduced the guest speaker who read poems and prose, part of which had been written by members of Mrs. Tatges family. Assisting with the program was Mrs. Stella Luke, also of Midway, who sang favorite songs and accompanied herself on the guitar. In the absence of Mrs. Audrey Stevens, Mrs. Mark Simmons, First presided at a short business meeting at which Mrs. Kenneth Kummer was voted a new member. Mrs. Simmons urged all members to attend the annual Christmas Party which will be held on Monday, December 9th at the Memorial Building at 7:30 PM.
