Registration set for Summer Outdoor Education Program Students leaving the fifth grade in the Alpine School District Dis-trict have a unique opportunity to participate' in the district's Summer Sum-mer Outdoor Education Program located at Clear Creek near Scofield, Utah. The students are invited to join in mixed, boys, girls or the Foreign Language Camp for Spanish Immersion students which are being sponsored by the district this summer. The cost for the four day experience is $75.00 which covers all expenses. Parents and activities included in-cluded are wild flower identification, identifica-tion, animal observation, forest and tree growth, land use, and environmental conservation. Resource visitors from several state and federal agencies are used to instruct students in specialized spe-cialized areas. On March 18th a fantastic kickoff assembly was held. Y u 0 1 as local doctor tells of rewards Lakeridge holds career days What in the world are you going to do with the rest of your life? The question confounds most young people. Some have a good idea. Most don't. To help those that don't and to give further direction to those that do, Lakeridge Jr. High sponsored spon-sored Career Days last Thursday. Every classroom during the morning session was taken over by professionals from throughout the valley. Students had an opportunity op-portunity to learn from those in the field what their day to day job entails. They learned what is expected, ex-pected, what to wear, weather the UVCC hosts Brown Bag Forum Utah Valley Community College Col-lege (UVCC) will host another Brown Bag Forum April 8 at 12 p.m. in the Hall of Flags. The forum will feature david Litchford, business management instructor at UVCC. He will discuss, dis-cuss, 'Three Personal Principles of Career Success," a subject he has presented to hundred of Utah business professionals. "One person really can make a difference in an organization, whether good or bad," Litchford emphasizes as his first principle for career success. "One must also have the ability to enjoy the journey jour-ney of a career and not just the Orem High School to stage "Arsenic and Old Lace" Joseph Kesserling's murderously mur-derously hilarious play, "Arsenic and Old Lace" will highlight the adventures of two spinsterly aunts when Orem High School presents "Arsenic and Old Lace" for six performances beginning April 6. Scheduled April 6-11 at 7:30 p.m. each night in the auditorium, tickets will be $1 for Orem High School students, $1.50 for other students, and $2 general admission.
