Show Legal Notice NOTICE OF MEETING OF BOARD OF EQUALIZATION AND REVIEW NOTICE E HEREBY GIVEN that the work contemplated in Orern City, Utah County, Utah, Special Improve ment District No, "U" by resolution heretofore adopted by the City Council in pursuance to notice of intention heretofore published and mailed to all property owners to be affected in Special Improvement District No. "U has now been completed and that 5 members of the City Council of Orem City, Utah, have been duly authorized to act as the Board of Equalization and Review on the tax proposed to be levied on the property within Special ImprovementDistrictNo. "U for Orem City and NOTICE K FURTHER GIVEN that the lists of the property in said district subject to said proposed tax and the various amounts of taxagainst said property have been completed com-pleted and are available for examination at the Office of tie City Recorder. THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION EQUALI-ZATION AND REVIEW as appointed by the City Council of Orem City, Utah, will meet in the Orem City Council Chambers at the Orem City Center Building on the following three consecutive days: from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on February 7, 1978; from 9'00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on February 8, 1978; from3.:00p.m, to 4.00 p.m. on February, 0, 1978. During that time said lists will be open to public inspect! n ;.nj viy iHvson feeling aggrievedwill hare a hearing on (1) the question of benefits accruing to any piece of property against which special taxes are proposed to be assessed, and on (2) the amount so proposed tobeassessed. fter the hearings have been concluded and after all persons desiring- to be heard have beenso heard, said BOARD OF EQUALIZATION AND REVIEW will consider the arguments argu-ments presented and will make such corrections in the proposed lists of special taxes as it may-consider may-consider just and equitable. Such corrections may eliminate one or more pieces of property or may decrease the amount of special taxes proposed to be assessed against ny piece of property, but will not increase the amount of any proposed assessment unless a new notice is given and a new hearing held. EVERY PERSON whose property prop-erty is liable to be assessed and who fail to appear before such Board of Equalization and Review to make any and every objection he may have to the levy of such special tax shall be deemed to have waived all and any objections objec-tions to such levy except the objection t'lat the governing body failed to obtain jurisdiction to order the making of the improvements improve-ments to pay the costs and expenses for which such tax is to be levied.
