Library Popularity Increases Orem City Library circulated a total of 14,649 books and magazines maga-zines during October with 7.721 borrowed by children and 6,928 lent to teenagers and adults. The books borrowed by the senior department included 2,690 non-fiction and 4,238 fiction. The junior department lent 954 non-fiction non-fiction and 6,767 fiction books. There were 171 teenage and adult new patrons who filled out application cards during the month while 61 children applied for library cards. The library added 158 books to the book stock with 131 added to the senior department and 27 to the children's department.
