Whether you know it or not, he influenced vour life and the history oi tne world for all time. It was his bundle of energy f ad driving dynamism dy-namism who threw together the great industrial giant which is General Motors. It is an indica tion of the man's Impact on the industry that so many stories a- bound around his name. For ex ample, Chrysler, Caddillac, and Nash would never have been names of DODular automobiles if Durant hadn't proved too much for the founder s of the companies which produce these cars. They all worked for the little giant, but couldn't stand the pace, so they quit and set their own pace and produced their own autos.
