Smith returned home to Ely, Nevada after having spent a month at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Horlacher. During Du-ring this time Mrs, Smith underwent un-derwent major surgery at the Holy Cross Hospital and returning re-turning to the Horlacher home to convalese. New Foreman At Geneva Works Is Orem Resident Robert P. Judd has been named nam-ed turn foreman of scarfing at U.S. Steel's Geneva Works. The announcement was made today by J. V. Mazurie, division divis-ion superintendent rolling mills. A graduate of Mark Kappel High School in Los Angeles, Mr. Judd studied engineering at Brigham Young University. He joined the U. S. Steel in 1949 as a plate production order or-der analyst and held various positions in the production planning and rolling mills divisions di-visions before his present appointment ap-pointment He and his wife, Colleen, and their three children reside re-side at 475 North 8th West, Orem.
