Street in Orem The Lincoln High School is located lo-cated on this street- How many of you know this street going west is one of the . main travel roads to the Geneva Steel Mills? How many of you know there isn't a sign of a sidewalk for a great distance. Think of the children walking to Lincoln, to Westmore School, and the Geneva Ward. You Ought to see children every day walking walk-ing in the center of the road. You say they should be to the side, but the weeds are so high I along the side they would get lost and never find their way to school. Of course you, like myself are in your car when you go down this street. That's fine. Just take time out some day right away and come down and check on things for yourself, and I am sure you will say we need a sidewalk at once. Don t watt until you are called to a funeral of one of your loved ones and say we will have to build a sidewalk side-walk as we cannot afford to lose another one. What can we do? I don't know but I expect it will cost me more than anyone else. Thomas L. Kitchen "Although the Soviets have millions of men, massive land armies that far outnumber those of the free world, they have not ordered these armies to march. for they know that such an order would bring our Air Force over their heads to strike at the very roots of Communist military power." General Nathan T. Twining, Chief of Staff, U. S. Air Force. FOR SALE Before I offer you something for sale,. let's stop and see where we stand. What Is failure?
