Those present were Diane Smith, La Rita Allred, Annetta Aiken, Arlene Rowley, Helen Rowley, Glenda Brown, Ilene Davis, Karen Snow, Ron-rie Ron-rie Jacobsen, Bobbie Norton, Jay Brown and Micheal Adams. Gena Vee Steele has been , spending the past two weeks with frinds and relatives in Blanding, Utah. Some of the Relief Society women spent last Tuesday cleaning the Timpanogos recreation re-creation hall. They were Myrtle Kitchen, Geneva Steele, Luzon Crosby, Leona Johnson, Lucille Collins, Mrs. Bradley and Margaret Mar-garet Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Graff scent a busy week attending weddings and wedding parties for their nieces and nephews. Last Wednesday they attended the wedding in the Salt Lake Temple for LaFawn Graff and Ronald Holt, and their wedding dinner at the Beau Brummell Cafe. On Thursday they attend' ed a wedding reception in Hurricane Hur-ricane for Joyce Graff and Gard ner Glenn Snow. On Friday they attended the reception for McBoy Holt and Bernard Haf-fen Haf-fen in Enterprise. They return ed home on Sunday after visit ing with relatives in Santa Clara and Enterprise. The missionary committee of the ward was in charge of the services Sunday evening, which honored Miss Margaret Johnson. As the first young lady missionary mission-ary of the ward to return from her mision she was presented with a lovely corsage. She and Billings Patten were the speakers speak-ers for the evening. The M-Men and Gleaners of the ward enjoyed an evening at Canyon Glenn. They had dinner, enjoyed games and elected off icers for the coming year.. They will be greatly missed in the activities of the ward. Mr. and Mrs. Homer McEwen will move into the Kocherhans home. Bishop and Mrs. Reed Burg-ener Burg-ener went to Idaho on Sunday to attend the funeral for his brother's little girl. The testimonies given by Mr. and Mrs. Burmiester, converts to the church from Sweden were greatly enjoyed at Sacra-ment Sacra-ment meeting on Sunday even ing. Mr. Burmiester introduced Wayne Johnson, the missionary who converted them to the church ,as his best friend.Mr, Burmiester played "Seret Pray er on the accordian and Maxine Varley played a piano solo. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Olsen (Carol Pyne) and family from Colorado are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Pyne and family and Mr. and Mrs. Weston Kofford. The Geneva ward bishopric is making a special request that all ward members be at the city hall on Friday evening at 7:15 to join the other wards in protesting the repeal of the Sunday beer law. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Turley and family of Mesa, Arizona are visiting at the home of Mrs. Josephine Hatch. Mr. Turley is a brother to Mrs. Hatch. An unsuccessful candidate for mayor, Foster slapped down a dime for two cups of coffee at the Lew-erenz Lew-erenz sweet shop. They were quaffed by Millard Cole, a mortician, mor-tician, and Lewis Bradbury, retired. "That's the only campaigning I did," Foster said. It apparently was not enough. Mayor Henry Naedler won re-election. The other 13 candidates for mayor, supervisor, alderman, city clerk, treasurer and assessor didn't spend a cent. City Clerk John C. Brandt said; Lake and her daughter, Leloy visited relatives here on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bellows and Mr. and Mrs. Weston Kof ford and family enjoyed a fishing fish-ing trip over the weekend. They report a fair catch. Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Jacobsen went fishing with a group of friends from Provo over the weekend. Sterling Park has traded his property on sixth east and fourth four-th north for land west of his parents home. He is moving a ready-built home onto the property. 4 . Larsen of LeGrande, Oregon, to Ogden on Sunday and spent the day visiting vis-iting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Larsen, who have been visiting here, left for their home on Monday. Marjean Stone, small daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Stone, is convalescing following a tonsil ton-sil operation. Little Misses Joslyn Jenkins and Sherrie Harding will be featured in a dance review at the Provo high scholl on Friday evening. The review is free to the public.
