BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF OREM CITY, UTAH, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Ordinance Number 81 entitled "An Ordinance Prohibiting Pro-hibiting the Sale or Offering for Sale of Light Beer at Wholesale and Retail, in Bottles and on Draught, Upon the First Day of the Week Commonly Called Sunday," which was passed by the City Council of Orem City, the 29th day of May, A. D. 1947, and the whole thereof is hereby repealed; provided that this ordinance ord-inance or any part hereof shall not be construed so as to effect any right or liabilities or action now pending, or any causes of action now existing that may have accrued before this ordinance ordin-ance shall take effect. Section 2: If any part of this ordinance shall be held invalid, such decision shall not effect the validity of the remainder of the ordinance. On Wednesday she witnessed the marriage ceremony of James Bradley of Driggs, Idaho and Barbara Webb of Oregon and the wedding of Leonard Jolley of Salt Lake City and Farris Swapp of Cotton Grove, Oregon. Both couples are friends of Mrs. Jones. She also had lunch with an old missionary companion, Mrs. Karl Burdette, the former Gladys Jacobs of Provo. While in Salt Lake she was the house guest of Mrs. E. E Midgley. ' Due to stormy weather, the stake Seventy's party was postponed, post-poned, but members from Grand View gathered at the home of Roy Davis and had a party.
