All-red All-red entertained more than 60 close friends and relatives of their daughter, Elaine Allred Prince, who wag recently married, mar-ried, Thursday afternoon and evening. Mr. and Mrs. Prince have been making their home at Berkeley, California, since their marriage, where the groom is attending the University of California. Mr. Prince joined his bride here before Christmas and the day after Christmas Mr. and Mrs. Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Prince left for New Harmony, Utah, where they will visit with the parents and family of Mr. Prince before the young people return to California. Bertha Walters Engaged to Wed Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Walters Wal-ters announce the engagement of their daughter, Bertha to Gordon Eastman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eastman of Prove Miss Walters will graduate from Lincoln high school this spring and Mr. Eastman is a graduate of Springville high school. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Dickerson Dick-erson were guests of the club. PLEASANT VIEW Clarence Brereton is slowly improving at the Bingham hospital hos-pital from a serious infection of the foot. He has been at the hospital for seven weeks. He was able to spend Christmas day with his family, returning to Bingham in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Hunn left Monday for ElCerrito, California to spend the holidays with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Byrant Knowlton and family. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Hunn and children of Salt Lake City are at the Hunn home while they are away. The M-Men and Gleaners are sponsoring a holiday dancing party Friday evening, December Decem-ber 27 in the ward hall. A good orchestra has been secured and refreshments will be served. I The room was decorated with ' gay Christmas motifs, with a lighted tree at one end. The dinner table was centered with a lovely wedding cake, topped with minature bride and groom. Places were arranged for Mr. and Mrs. Carl Farley, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hacking, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Frampton Collins, Mr. and Mrs Carroll Farley of Mt. Pleasant. Farley Finch-Gurr Reception j Pretty Affair Mrs. Ethel Finch complimented compliment-ed her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dean Gurr, (Rosa Mae Finch) with a wedding reception Friday evening in Sharon ward hall, with 250 relatives rela-tives and firends greeting the happy young couple. The hall was pretty with soft pink and green decorations. Mr. and Mrs. Gurr were married in the Salt Lake temple on Wednesday with a double ring ceremony. The bride was attended by her sister, Mary Lylene, as maid of honor and Afton Finch, Mary Lou Gurr, Lois Guyman and Gloria Mott were bridesmaids. Clyde Higginson was best man. The bride's wedding gown was heavy white tafetta, fashioned with bustle and train, long pointed point-ed sleeves and tight fitting bodice. Her fingertip veil was caught up with a coronet of seed plearls. Her boquet was red roses. Little Sharon and Linda Higginson and Douglas Finch were trainbearers. President J. Clayton Watts was master of ceremony for the entertaining program during dancing. -; Mrs. W. S. Park was in charge of the serving, the table being covered with a lace cloth and centered with a three tiered wedding cake, with lighted pink tapers at each end. ' , Ella Finch, Thelma Higginson and Delia Collings were In charge of the gifts and Venice Finch the guest book. Mr. and Mrs, Gurr are spending spend-ing their honeymoon in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sacramento. Sac-ramento.
