Coordinated by ballroom team director Brad Haymond, the Tiger Qassic will include a wide range of dances such as waltz, tango, cha cha, swing, mambo, foxtrot, jive, rumba and more in dozens of competition competi-tion categories. Competitors range from pre-teen dancers to adult dancers and teams in newcomer, pre-teen, junior, youth, college and adult categories. catego-ries. The Orem High ballroom team consists of 22 dancers, all of whom will compete at Saturday's Sat-urday's event. More than just the competitive aspects, however, how-ever, the event is beneficial to the team. As a fundraiser, Haymond hopes to use the competition to help cover music, mu-sic, choreography, costumes and other expenses the team incurs.
