UVSC names new associate vice president for marketing and communications Chris Taylor of St. George lias joined ttie UVSC office of College Marketing & Communications Commu-nications as the new Associate Vice 'President. Taylor comes to UVSC after having served as DiMe State College s Director of College Public Relat ions for the past two years. Taylor is a Utah native and actually attended UVSC for one year before transf erring. After graduating from BYU with a bachelor's degree in communication, com-munication, emphasis in public relations. Taylor went on to earn a master's degree of social science in public administration at Utah State University. Me first joined Dixie as Assistant Assis-tant Dir ector of Public Relations Publications in 2001 belore being promoted as Director in 2004. Taylor has also lieen heavily involved in community-oriented endeavors while in St. George, having served ttie past five years on the Dixie Rotary Bowl Planning Committee and the past t wo years as a Dixie Sun-shuier, Sun-shuier, an ambassador group for the St. George Area Cham-tier Cham-tier of Commerce.
