NeldenMaxfield(left)asButchCassidy, and Ron Stevenson (right) as the Sundance 'Butch And The Kid' Opens At Sundance Since the opening of the Sundance Sun-dance Theatre in Provo Canyon, theatregoers have been anticipating antici-pating the presentation of the musical comedy production of Butch and The Kid, an original origi-nal story by talentedBuddy Youngreen with music by James Prigmore. The premier performance per-formance is scheduled for Tuesday, Tues-day, July 21. The story differs from the movie script, but still depicts -Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as fun-loving, easy-going characters. Most of the incidents inci-dents have a flavor of authenticity; authen-ticity; however, they should not be taken too literally. The audience will find themselves them-selves involved from the opening chase. Bank robberies, Pinker-ton Pinker-ton men, and adventures in New York spice the entertainment. Nelden Max fie Id portrays Butch, and Ron Stevenson plays-the plays-the sharpshooting Kid. Etta Place, who was a companion to both of the outlaws, is played by Miss Orem, Ruth Ann Nielsen.
