Still there is another thought on this vital subject, I can only put my own interpret ation into what I write . , . not always does this meet with other people's ideas, philosophies or religions. I have heard it stated time and again that the LDS religion falls to teach tolerance among our own people. To my way of think ing, tolerance is an individual thing built up or woven into us by your own past experiences and conditions, for most persons at some time or other criticizes some fellow being mildly or severelyforgetting sev-erelyforgetting their own little failings. I am remembering what a reader said of me to my moth er. She said, "Ethyl's writings are Just wonderful I wonder why she doesn't live up to them . . V So there you have it What my reader forgot is that I may be just a human being like her a person subject to all the tempta tions and lures that should have been met and conquered that is, if I ever expect to get to heaven when I leave this mortal state. But that is just an excuse . . . I, as well as you, do little things, everyday things that we should know better than to do. Most every normal person who has reached the grand old age of seven years should know right from wrong. Consequently, there is no excuse to sin or error. That should leave us fool proof against the buffeting of Satan, or what ever it is called. Now, I love my friends for their imperfections as well as their perfections I always try to re member what Christ taught when people were stoning the fallen woman at the well. Remember? These quotoations may not be correct, but I can believe that you. too, remember them well, So, if we are to keep all the commandments, there is a definite one not to put judgment upon another. I once knew a grand guy nam fd Johnny. In all the time I knew him I never once heard him put judgment upon another. When called upon to comment, he would say, "Nice people, nice people.' I never found out to what rellg ion he belonged, or if he went to church but he certaily kept this one commandment. For me: All I ask is to live and let live. Ill settle with my con scious and my God for every im perfection I may have.
