OREM-GENEVA TlJ A group of friends honored Betty Ferguson at a surprise birthday party Tuesday evening at her home- Games and refreshments re-freshments were enjoyed at the Ferguson home and the group concluded the evening with a theatre parly. Her son, Norman Nielson, who has been working in Idaho and stayng with his grandmother, grandmoth-er, Mrs. George Bronson, returned return-ed with them. Women's Club Board Holds Session Board members of the Orem Women's club held an executive meeting this week at the home of Mrs. Merlin Finch. Helen attended the Lincoln h;gh school and Sharon seminary. semin-ary. She was active in music circles at the school and a member mem-ber of. the Sub Deb club. he was one of the school cheer leaders. Mr. Cowley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Cowley, graduated from Lincoln high school and Sharon seminary. He was president pres-ident of the senior class, a member mem-ber of the Cor Unum club and was active in sports. He is employed em-ployed by the Standard Oil Co. in Kanab, Utah.
